The Somnia Aura Spa is the new wellness area inside the Grand Hotel & Des Anglais.
Inspired by the Roman Domus Aurea, it was born from an ambitious project that transformed an unused space into an exclusive retreat where body and mind can regenerate in harmony with the elements.
The Somnia Aura Spa is a place dedicated to relaxation and wellbeing, where guests can enjoy moments of pure balance in the heart of Sanremo, surrounded by an elegant and private atmosphere.

Wellbeing at the Grand Hotel & Des Anglais can now also be enjoyed outdoors.
The new outdoor relaxation area is now available: an exclusive space immersed in the light of the Riviera, designed to offer moments of tranquility in a refined and private setting.
Guests will have access to:
Heated Jacuzzi pool
Solarium area with sun loungers
Relax zone with tables and lounge seating
Fitness corner equipped with exercise bike, treadmill, and workout bench
During your stay, you may book your wellness experience by requesting the Spa Kit (bathrobe and slippers) directly in your room and accessing the wellness area located in the heart of the hotel.
The wellness path lasts 3 hours, during which guests are free to enjoy a complete experience of relaxation and wellbeing.

A bit of history
In ancient times, the premises that now house the spa, were reserved for the servants of royalty, presidents and nobles who stayed in the hotel. After the second half of the twentieth century, they were used as warehouses and large laundry.
Only in 2021, after an elaborate and ambitious project, the works are finally finished, bringing to light the Spa, born from the ancient rock on which the structure rests.
The name, Somnia Aura Spa, evokes a dream place, and dictates the characteristics of the experience you will undertake.
