Cinque terre
The Cinque Terre are made up of five ancient seaside villages located in the province of La Spezia.
They extend over a stretch of high and jagged coast of about 10 km and are immersed in nature in a hilly area characterized by terraced dry stone walls with vineyards and olive groves1. The villages overlook the sea and have a small port through which they are connected by a line of boats, with the exception of CORNIGLIA which does not have one.
The municipalities are Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.
This area can be reached by sea or by train, in fact the railway connects these villages very quickly.
This corner of paradise is 150 km from the Riviera dei Fiori, and is a recommended excursion during beautiful days and calm seas.
You can reach La Spezia by car and take an excursion by ferry, or by train.
