This year the Premio Tenco 2025 will be held on 23, 24 and 25 October 2025 at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo (Imperia). Italy's most prestigious and renowned songwriting festival will once again award one or more artists with the PREMIO TENCO, assigned by Club Tenco for the career of those who have made a significant contribution to world songwriting.

Club Tenco was founded in Sanremo in 1972 by a group of enthusiasts to promote and support the so-called ‘canzone d'autore’, i.e. quality songwriting. It is named after a great Italian singer-songwriter who died by suicide in 1967. The Club's Statute states, among other things: ‘The purpose of the Club is to bring together all those who, picking up on Luigi Tenco's message, propose to enhance songwriting, seeking artistic dignity and poetic realism even in light music’. 

the first to be born is the ‘Rassegna della canzone d'autore’, a festival of high artistic, cultural and technical quality, held annually in Sanremo since 1974, a unique event in Europe and perhaps the world. The most interesting Italian and foreign singer-songwriters are invited to it.
